Project Information
Assessment
The Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) and participating institutions
conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of short- and long-term
project outcomes. Outlined below are some of the assessment activities
designed to measure these outcomes:
- CGS worked closely with the Advisory Board, including educational
program assessment experts, and a Measurement and Metrics Task Force
to develop assessment tools to monitor project outcomes.
- CGS and the Advisory Board established a core set of questions
for an exit questionnaire, to be administered by the participating institution
to all doctorate recipients, as well as common guidelines for the administration
and publication of the results.
- Project participants have submitted institutional data to CGS for analysis and dissemination.
- Project participants will also submit updated institutional data for analysis to determine the impact of interventions on completion and attrition
