Phase I

The Completion Project database contains data submitted by 29 institutions representing 316 Ph.D. programs. Among these programs, there are 10 fields in which 13 or more programs are represented, with another 11 areas for which there are five or more institutions represented. This density of programs and the variety of institutions represented ensure that the data collected will be useful for purposes of benchmarking.

Phase II

In Phase II of the Ph.D. Completion Project 22 Research Partner institutions are submitting data representing 261 Ph.D. programs. The number of Ph.D. programs will increase as we receive data from Phase II Project Partner institutions.
